The first time I saw the Baldessari video was about a year ago at the Art Institute. Then we watched it in class on Friday, and I discovered that I had a much higher tolerance for it this time around. That could mean either A) that I'm learning, and able to understand it within the context of early video art as a whole, or B) that I've just been numbed by three weeks of Vito. I think it's C) all of the above, though.I’m taking a class on Vito Acconci right now, and we’re watching one Acconci piece each day, and a companion piece for discussion.
