Haven't had a hourly job in 7yrs and I am doing everything in my power to avoid the one I have lined up. Spoiled by academia and self-directed work for sure...I feel you man!I just finished spring quarter at UW and I am sulking in the same emotions. I heard great artists have to suffer some...and starve, too. You won't starve, that's ruled out by God's promise and how cute Anna is and Karen's contribution. So, a PT job with a bit of rest and suffering might just set you up for a super creative next-year-of-art. And I like it that you like to "work with students" and help people "realize ideas". Hmmmmm.....sounds like....me! the President of JBU asked me last week, "When will Dayton finish his MFA?" One of these days, you'll have more work than you know what to do with. (Am I a great Mama or what?--this is why you haven't suffered enough!) :) Love, MamaWell, besides your parents telling you to stop doodling, you haven’t suffered much for your art.
